ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Julia, an experienced audiovisual translator and subtitler. Born in England and raised in France, I am fully bilingual and work in both language combinations (FR>EN and EN>FR). After completing an LLB in European Law at the University of Warwick and an MA in Audiovisual Translation at City University London, I started off my career in languages as a translation project manager.
I have been a full-time freelance translator and subtitler since 2017, with a particular focus on subtitling short and feature films for festivals, documentaries, museum archives and television series, as well as translating documentaries for voice-over.
In 2025, I'm proud to have joined the ATAA, the French Association for Audiovisual Translators.
